Bumblebee neck pickup
Description:
The Bumblebee neck pickup is a high output pickup. I designed the Bumblebee neck pickup to pair with my Bumblebee bridge pickup. It’s a great match for a humbucker bridge pickup.
The Bumblebee comes with alnico 5 magnets.
The Bumblebee comes standard with an open pickup cover which helps keep the overwound coil inductance down giving the pickup punch and clarity.
The Bumblebee neck pickup is reverse wound for hum-canceling in the middle position.
Set-up:
I like to set my Telecaster neck pickup height at 5/64th on the bass side and 4/64th on the treble side. Then I like to adjust by ear to balance out with my bridge pickup and middle position.
I only use premium parts. Handmade in the USA. Sound samples at the bottom of the page.
